Please welcome the most long-awaited variant of vape mod from the Reuleaux line – Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3, created by JayBo. Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3, initially an RX200S with an additional batterycover to enable using the mod with only 2 batteries. The Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 is a 300W, triple 18650 mod. The exceptional factor is the size, which is more compact than some dual 18650 mods!
– 1 Reuleaux RX GEN3 (no cells)
– 1 Back Cover for 3 cells
– 1 USB Cable
– 1 User Manual
– 1 Warning Card
– Zinc alloy construction
– Replaceable batterycover
– 2 or 3 18650 batteries
– 200W maximum power output (250W with a firmware update) on 3 batteries
– Big OLED display with customizable logo via firmware
– Temperature control for Ni, Ti, SS
– Custom TCoR profiles
– Firmware upgradeable
The packaging is quite comparable to other Reuleaux line – simple and cool. The RX2/3 is available in a black box with silver branding.
The front side shows an exploded look of the mod, with both the batterydoors written in shiny silver.
The backside of the package displays a short introduction of the RX2/3, a list of contents, a sticker revealing the color of the mod and another sticker with a scratch n’ check to check for genuineness.
The mod itself being in a black foam insert, which also has a ribbon to take it out, can be found inside the package.
Underneath it you will find a battery safety card, the guide, the secondary batterydoor and a USB cable.
While using triple-18650 battery chassis, initially it may seem all is precisely exactly like the Reuleaux RX200S. But this vape mod is really a little bit taller from its predecessor. The back cover is replaceable therefore you can opt for either two cells with a highest output of 150W / 6V or with three cells that attain 200W / 9V.
It provides similar characteristics from the RX200S like the 0.96in OLED display, which shows the Voltage Wattage, NiChrome, Titanium, Stainless Steel and 3 TCR modes. Upgradeable firmware makes the device stay updated and easy to customize logo to make your own one. You can update the firmware easily and fastly. The logo is done in the same app. Wismec comes with a typical logo in the download.
The GNOME offers two drip trips for users, the short one and the long one, which will let you experience fantastic vaping.
The juice in the device will most likely come to an end in 12 hours if using the dual-18650 battery chassis and probably a full day when using the triple-18650 battery chassis.
There are just some issues. Things like the 510 spring being rather thin and failing after putting on an atomizer with a longer pin, buttons sticking and misfiring, unbalanced discharge of the batteries.
The RX2/3 is sold with two kinds of batterydoor. One can hold a battery and has two batteries in the mod, offering you a triple 18650 setup with which you can use the full 250W (or 9V). Another is a smaller door which can not hold a battery but makes the RX2/3 a fair bit smaller, which will reduce the maximum power output to 200W (or 6V).
Both batterydoors are secured by two notches on the top and a locking mechanism on the bottom.
(One problem appeared with the smaller batterydoor, the notches at the top which should fall into the spots, didn’t fall in and moved the top plate upwards. The batterydoor for triple 18650 fell into place in the right manner; however it did have a small hole due to the before-mentioned problem.)
It is better to remove the cells and charge them by means of external charger.
As well, you can charge the unit by connecting it to a computer or a wall adapter through USB cable.
Looking at the price segment the RX series resides in, this is a pretty good deal. You can get it for about $55.
